Tacoma Rock Gritty -

This month is the start of the rock season!!! Winter almost gone, bands are starting to tour again, gas prices are down, things are looking up! A rare chance for tacoma to see some truly original norweigian rock is quickly approaching. The Dirty Callahans from Oslo, Norway will invade Hell’s Kitchen on Feb 19. As all true fans of the rock know, Norway is in a close race with Asutralia for taking first place in the rockolympics if there was such a thing. Following on the heels of The Hellacopters, Turbonegro, and Glucifer, The Dirty Callahans are a rock force to be reckoned with. Theyre newest release ” Steppin on Toes” is scheduled for a March 13 ( a Friday of course)  release in Norway so we will be treated to a set of new tunes that are sure to melt faces. Check out a preview @ www.myspace.com/thedirtycallahans. Touring with the Callahans are some true Texas rockers, The Bexar County Bastards from Austin Tx.. The Bastards are a true mix of south texas rock and a electric live history. Members such as Andy Bastard formerly of Pitbull Daycare, Chapstik, and The American Gigolos is axe man that knows how to work the crowd. Fast , obnoxious, dirty and mean, these bands together are going to rip the back wall off the Kitchen! “R.A.R.L.A.M.F.” is in full effect! Check your ego at the door, load the bong and have a kick ass night.

This is just to let folks know, we have a website up now. It’s still being put together and shit added.  Also we have the full length being wrapped up soon. Copies will be sent to the usual suspects.

I also want to thank The Roxxcast for playing one of our tunes on their show. Very cool. We appreciate it man.

We’re also trying to put together a West coast tour for this year. Would love to come up to Washington. Anyone have any venues they can recommend in Oregon and Washington?

We will donate all the proceeds to benefit pirate punks a local contingent of punkers gathering money to help underground punk bands who come to Seattle by feeding them, giving them gas money, a place to play and crash. Please come help us, help the underground community stay alive!
